We are delighted to introduce our 12th Trustee to the EGCT board – Peter Hawthorne
Peter is joining the EGCT board as the 2nd EDC nominee. He will be working to ensure the strategic objectives of both EDC and EGCT are fully aligned and working together to meet the stewardship needs for the Ebbsfleet Garden City. With his strong financial background, we are sure he will keep us on our toes!
Peter was formerly CEO, and previously FD, of London & Continental Railways Ltd (LCR), the government owned development company that specialised in transport-enabled development and regeneration. With LCR Peter acquired considerable experience of working with public and private sector partners to deliver regeneration projects through joint ventures at Manchester Mayfield, King’s Cross and Stratford East London. Peter is a qualified accountant and a lay member of the Audit & Risk Committee of the University of Hull.
