On Saturday 28th February, Springhead Park residents were finally able to access their allotment plot, and start to make their gardening plans come to life.
Many of the plotholders are new to owning an allotment plot, so it is with great excitement and anticipation they are making their first foray into the world of allotments. And with the children “helping” and running around with new found friends, it is a wonderfully social place to be over the weekends – especially with this glorious spring weather we are being blessed with!

Community Gardening
Saturday also saw the Community Gardeners continuing their work on the raised planter beds – we look forward to seeing what will be planted!
