Community Gardens
The Weldon Heart site is located at the end of Tickner Drive. It will provide a community garden, orchard and 30 allotments plots.
The Community Garden will be available to the whole community, it will contain various fruiting trees, a wildflower meadow, seating and raised planter beds. It will be surrounded by green hedging and all harvested produce, will be for the community to share.

Allotment Plots
A number of allotment plots will be available to rent, in a variety of sizes, 30m2 up to 125 m2 with a central facility containing compost bins, stores, potting benches and seating. It will be wheelchair accessible, with several water taps, a notice board and some parking. The allotments will be surrounded by secure fencing, green hedging and a locked gate.

On the practical side there are several water taps, community compost bins, a secure storage shed and notice board, as well as a central facility containing potting benches, wash out and secure power point. The site is wheelchair friendly, accessible on foot, by bike – with cycle racks provided – and some onsite parking available for those if needed.
